R. DENIM IN 10 SECONDS
Dr. Denim was founded in 2004 in Gothenburg, Sweden, as an early pioneer of affordable denim. Since then, the brand has been a strong force in challenging the established paradigm of what a good pair of jeans should be and what they should cost.
Dr. Denim is an independent family business helmed by two brothers and their father.
Dr. Denim’s jeans are vegan (They don’t feature any leather patches or details).
Dr. Denim ships 1.5 million garments every year to its fans all over the world, with final stops ranging from Australia to Texas and many in between.
Dr. Denim currently has two (soon three) concept stores in Sweden, as well as primary showrooms in Stockholm and New York City.
In 2005 Dr. Denim became the synonym for skinny jeans in Scandinavia as the brand’s now iconic unisex fit, Snap, hit the market. The term “Dr. Denims” was born by its wearers and it still sets the standard of the modern skin-tight silhouette for men and women.
In 2016 Dr. Denim started offering organic cotton denim.
Since its inception, Dr. Denim has challenged established approaches to designing and making denim, introducing novel approaches that have impacted and inspired the industry.
